Henriëtte Robert is a dancer, educator and choreographer from The Netherlands. After receiving her degree for Dance Education at Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts, she started teaching and creating her own work. In 2017 she decided to take her dance career to the next level and started studying at Gibney in New York, to specialize in contemporary dance and community action.
In the Netherlands, she has performed on national television in honor of The King’s 50th birthday. She also danced for the company Dansnest, that specializes in creating choreography in public space. In New York, she collaborated with the Tunisian choreographer Syhem Belkhodja and her company. She is a current member of Jessica Lewis Arts and performs with Eveline’s work ‘Rhythmic Current’. Next to that she’s creating her own work and performed in the St. Ann and Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn, in a co-production with Brazilian dancer Cora Laszlo and theatre director and dancer Hanne Larsen.
