Kristin Dowdy (Artistic Collaborator, Jessica Lewis Arts and Instructor of Dance at Campbellsville University) is dancer, educator, and choreographer from St. Louis, MO. Ms. Dowdy earned her MFA in Dance from The College at Brockport, State University of New York in 2019 and BFA in Dance Performance with a minor in Business from Ball State University in 2014. Kristin is a founding member of Jessica Lewis Arts and some of her past company credits include works with Motus Dance Theatre, =ibrium Dance Project, and Andrew and Jannetti and Dancers. In addition to her work in performance, Kristin spent many summers running the dance program at Camp Wicosuta.
Kristin currently resides in Campbellsville, KY and is on faculty at Campbellsville University in the Department of Theater. Ms. Dowdy teaches courses in ballet, tap, and jazz technique, musical theater history, and more. In addition to her concert dance works Cityscapes Dance Project and Challenging Convention, Kristin has choreographed for the multiple musical productions including She Loves Me, Urinetown, and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
